The Core Five exercises target the areas of our body that most greatly impact the overall shape we present the world. Quadriceps, or "Quads" for short, give us strong, shapely thighs. The Gluteus Maximus muscles, or "Glutes", give us a firm, shapely bottom. The Trapezius, Deltoids and Pectoralis Major commonly referred to as "Traps", "Delts" and "Pecs" are targeted to give us strong, shapely shoulders, neckline and upper chest.
Engaging your core before and during every exercise strengthens the Abdominal muscles, or "Abs", improving overall body strength and support.
